hi Stephen, I am not so clear about your way of copying to lap top. Do you use the i Book internal CD driver to read and copy those disks? then did you save the .wav file into the fire wire hard disk drive or did you send them wirelessly to another remote computer? When you play back what kind of DAC do you use? on board or stand a lone... using digital oputput thru fire wire or just co-axial..tks a lot!
