Based on what I have seen, Poneer Elite tries with it's different players to have better chassis and some improvements in their electronics (DVD side). As far as "better" sounding players though, the Elite group is all over the friggin place in terms of their choice of DACS, Op amps, power supplies and such. This company just can't seem to get their engineers in a straight line model from model, year to year!
