I would have to say for all intensive purposes the Altmann and the Lite are identical in sound. If there are any differences they are so insignificant it's not even worth mentioning. The one that was a bigger difference was using the Audio Note against the others. As I stated, "All three were real good, but for the cost difference the Lite AH is KILLER!" If you already own an Altmann then use it. If you own a Lite AH, get it modified as described, and I feel you have the best there is to offer at any price point.
