There is no ATF processor as such - Anagram licensed their proprietary software to various companies like Cambridge Audio and this software runs on a DSP chip. The first version was on a SHARC processor and the updated one on a Black Fin.
Such is the way of the consumer world, the DAC will be considered to be End of Life now. It is unlikely the processor is fried. Most likely it is the power supply capacitors or perhaps voltage regulators powering the DSP which are shot.
Depending on how attached you are to it, I would suggest you simply look to buy a new device and wave goodbye to it unless you have a tech who knows his way around the device and won't charge too much to recap the device and check the voltage rails.
