Have you considered using the LT1365CN op-amp? This is the quad version of LT1364 which Dan Wright recommended highly and used in his DAC mod.
The LT1365CN is a direct drop-in to replace TL074. Digikey carries it for $12 if you buy less than 25 pieces. The Linear Tech direct store quote it for $8 each, but they have to special order it. I'm waiting for their response and eager to try this out.
