How about comparing options 1 and 4, i.e., the Accuphase as a redbook transport compared to the Sony as a redbook transport, either feeding the dCS DAC. Since the Sony is limited to an RCA digital output, it would be especially worthwhile if you compared with the Accuphase using its same RCA digital out and not AES/EBU, and of course, the same brand digital cable.
