Re: Modern CD state of the art

Not heard the Densen, they are imposible to find and audition in my area. But they have recieved excellent press in the reviews I have read.

Well said & true, although the Ikemi - sometimes - makes you forget that it is digital, but unfortunatly not enough sometimes. Even SACD has a distinct slight glare, although nothing like PCM digital. But i attribute that glare to the Sony, who's equipment has always been somewhat bright IMO.

That said - you understand my resentment to this JCW post. Especially since he mis-led the jury.

It remains ironic that he defended his postion by stating that Audio 101 was outdated - yet he has so much to learn.
