The premis of the article is not Digital VS Analog, but Digital vs Digital.
I own reference digital & analog front ends - I understand the difference in music reproduction even with SACD. That discussion is different from the one you have posted and contrary to the article which compares digital formats - and is NOT RELEVENT to the title of your thread.
