I have to admit that I don't really understand the advantages/disadvantages of oversampling and converting the data to a 24-bit/192-kHz single-bit delta-sigma data stream vs. "upsampling". But, hey -- whatever it's doing inside, it's the sound that comes out that counts, right? Sounds pretty high-tech, though! I'd really be interested in reading your full review of the DP-75V, if you have the time and inclination to post one. Even though I am questioning the wisdom of jumping to SACD right now, the idea of upgrading my DP-65V to the DP-75V for CD playback alone is still quite tempting. (My dealer will give me a pretty generous trade-in allowance.) Thanks again and good listening -- Dave
