Upsamplers, DACs, jitter, shakes and analogue withdrawals, this is it.

Re: dCS

Based on the reputation the DCS Elgar has sonically (I've never heard one personally)- If the DCS upsampler improves the Elgar, it should improve other DACs even more dramatically . This is because an upsampler's filter algorithm takes over for the DAC's, and since the Elgar is purportedly a near state-of-the-art DAC, its filter algorithm must already be superb. But DCS' upsampler algorithm must be even better. (That is the *only* way it can improve the Elgar.) This very same DCS upsampler algorithm will be transformed to *any* DAC it is used with. (As long as the DAC can take in 24/96 or 24/192 digital signals.)
