No, I've got a dcs purcell/delius paired with a Wadia 270 transport. I use the purcell to upsample to 192 and this goes to the delius. I have heard from a local dealer that the 27ix (which I owned before trading in for the dcs delius) with 270 combo is very tough to beat so I can't say. I will admit that the 27ix seemed to have a more warm and rich presentation than the dcs equip. Where dcs excels is getting more info out to the listener and making the presentation very sharp and transparent.
The sony compared to this? For cd playback the 270/dcs combo is better (but not a lot, it is noticeable though). However, I still much prefer sacd to the 270/dcs combo. Even upsampled to 192.
