I have auditioned SACD briefly at two dealers in the states. In one system it was an A/B comparison of the tracks of a CD/SACD composite disk. I found the differences dramatic. In another system it was a an A/B comparison of the SACD with a very high quality CD player where both players were playing the same cut (one on a SACD disk and one on a redbook CD disk) and while the differences were not as dramatic as on the first system, my preference was still clearly for SACD.
