I visit these forums fairly regularly (due in part to the lack of decent UK-based ones!) and cannot recall seeing any such bad comments about dCS. Can you cite specific examples? A search reveals a multitude of posts, almost all of which are very positive.
I'm afraid you will always find a small (but very vocal) minority who will deem it appropriate to slam a product - usually without ever having actually *listened* to it - because it's the only way they can feel better about not being able to afford it.
