DCS Elgar and Elgar Plus Differences ?

Upsamplers, DACs, jitter, shakes and analogue withdrawals, this is it.

The DCS site only lists what's current in a new Elgar Plus these days.
Prior to the DSD & IEEE-1394 firewire upgrade, what does the Elgar Plus offer over a standard Elgar for regaulr 16/44 upsampling ? Is there a sonic advantage or just some more features that I may never use ?
