The reason I am thinking 1.1X audition is becuase it will give me an idea of what AN DACs are like---whether i like it or not---- and it is a cheaper/safer way for me to make a decision without spending upwards of $5000. If I really like it I will eventually upgrade to 3.1 or 4.1.In the $5000 to $10,000 range which AN DAC is the best value, and best match for ML 31.5?
Will it be better matched with passive amps or active? I currently have ARC LS-25 and I will consider switching for a better match.
