Just listen to the upsampling from say, the dcs purcell/delius compared with standard redbook and tell me that the dcs gear is just introducing distortion. If it is, I only wish that there was more distortion like this available. You may not like what you've heard, but there are lots of us who do. So despite the lecture on what can or can't happen, there are lots of subjective reactions from folks who like what it does.My advice to anyone thinking about such devices is what we all tell ourselves -- go listen and decide for yourself. Quit listening to these endless, and rather tedious, debates on AA.
