Hi,

It matters little. I referred to waveforms due to the fact that waveforms (or rather the fundamental and it's harmonics) determine what we hear.... Hence correct reproduction is essential.

PS, Fourier Math requires an essentially infinite long window onto a steady state sinewave for high accuracy. Halve a sinewave is nothing.
