Well, higher sample rate in itself will not offer better sound, though every different implementation of a technology may sound different. In fact with one-bit designs, higher sample rates will be more sensitive to clock variances and noise. People claim 'measurements mean nothing' etc. and then will go with the fashion and order upgrades based on the marketing numbers.steve
