Des,Have you listened to 176.4 at length? dCS "suggests" it may be superior and I prefer it as well as several other dCS users I know. The soon to be released DSD/Firewire upgrade from dCS is even better. I find it much better than PCM upsampling with the 972/Elgarplus via SDIF2.
