Can't speak on the P3A 96/192, but on my dCS combo,the change is audible in specifically with regards to depth, ambience and apparent layering of the soundstage--this also extends more into the listening enviroment.
But from my point of view as of this moment the jury is still out as to whether it is more 'natural'/'musically accurate'--vivid maybe--different yes--better? could be--I'm awaiting 'THE' AudioNote DAC to arrive-this could answer the question.Good Listening,
