Upsamplers, DACs, jitter, shakes and analogue withdrawals, this is it.

Re: Now I get it.

Yeah, sort of. I have a TacT RCS that can do the digital RIAA EQ and a MSB PAD 24/96 ADC. I can use a Grado Reference wich is about 4.5mV, but I would really like to use a Helikon, but is only .5mV. Either way I don't think a steup transformer on it's own has enough gain to drive the ADC to a sufficient level.
Of course I don't even know if it's even worth going through all the trouble in the first place; Not sure if Digital RIAA would be that much better if at all.
I don't know if you are an LP enthusiast, but if you are and you get a good listen to the Grieg, let us know how it compares to a conventional phono stage with a high quality ADC.

Thanks
