Sorry, but in this case that's clearly not the whole explanation.
If you scroll not quite to the bottom you will read of dCS's displeasure with the first review. So there was a second. I call it the "corrective" review.
I take issue with Kal's suggestion that this was simply a follow-up review given to a "significant" product. Not the Chord DAVE, the Meridian Ultra, the EMM Labs DV2 nor the dCS Vivaldi--just to name a few--got follow-up reviews, because the first review was fine. I would call these all "significant" products. Wouldn't you?
