Now you have me confused. The Grieg is as far as a RIAA phonopreamp goes is a fully functional standalone RIAA preamp capable of taking the output of a MM or MC cartridge from 5mV to 0.1mV. That unequalized analog signal is amplified to whatever level is needed to get a digital sample of it and then sampled as a PCM stream up to 24/192 or as DSD. It is then equalized in the digital domain.
