Roy,As a guy who has had the older and now newly updated version of the DAC 5 Special, i agree with your assertation. Hope to finilize the review of the DAC 5 Special TOMORROW and have it available on the Enjoy the Music.com Review Magazine. The sad thing is, i find i can not live WITHOUT it in my system. Well, guess the Ferrari can wait yet another year... or maybe not :-)
