Given the limited power output, it's suitable for source components only. For the price, one could get better isolation for source components by a battery supply, if one is concerned about isolating source components from the power line and isolating non-digital amplifiers from digital source components. Thyratrons do have a cool glow, but I played with them over 50 years ago when I was a teenager. And I certainly didn't pay thousands to see them glow, either.
Given the price and what I've read below, I would not be in the least surprised if the product is a scam and that many of the people who promote it are either sock puppets, shills or audiophools. Just saying, I could be wrong.
