RE: I`m thinking of upgrading my Levinson 390S to dCS Purcell and Elgar Plus...

The dCS Elgar and Purcell and Verdi transport wiped the Levinson in my system. But that was several years ago; I progressed to the Scarlatti, holding onto the Verona Word Clock. So far nothing has touched it, altho the new Puccini one-box player sounded very good last weekend at Sound by Singer. I will be talking to David Stephen of dCS next weekend at Singer concerning the Puccini. Some time ago I invested in the Siltech firewire for the Scarlatti transport to DAC, and Nordost word-clock cables for the Verona. To be absolutely honest, I haven't detected much change. The BIG change has been my new Magico V3s, replacing the Watt/Puppy 8s. The speaker I've been waiting for, (although if you have WattPuppy 7s, HOLD ON TO THEM!)
