Where did I say in recent time I didn't like DSD? My only complaint is that it's hideously expensive. Maybe had it been cheaper, it could have displaced ASRC as the method of sample rate conversion.

I'm apparently stating something you don't want people to read or know.

You should think about why I've never gone around accusing anyone here of posting misinformation. Misinformation is easy to refute in a level-headed fashion. And afterwards, if I were to call it misinformation, it would be stating the obvious, unless my intention was to humiliate whoever stated it.

If you like how ASRC sounds, that's fine too. But don't take it personally that I think it's a technological fraud. It's not like I want to take your ASRC away. But I do want this hobby to recover, and I think ASRC is one of the biggest roadblocks to that objective. (And maybe if truly better designs were to come forth, you might then realize the deficiencies.)

And finally, I'm an open book. If you want to email me, go right ahead. If you want to talk to me on the phone, I'll provide it via email. The bottom line is it just pains me to see the deterioration of the collective enjoyment of music amongst both audiophiles and the masses. (This is also why I scream "Don Allen" and "Aleks Syntek".) And could explain why people are getting more despondent in life in general. The biggest travesty of all would be the public going beyond a point of return in forgetting what music is all about.
