The high sampling rate of the output allows us to include advanced ultrasonic dither and noise shaping techniques in this step to achieve greater than 24bit effective resolution.
Even this page has some technically bogus info..... Dither doesn't apply to D/A conversion, and such techniques are not even possible at -144 dB. The "effective resolution" is determined by the media and A/D dither applied to the recording, not the D/A conversion.
