If you REALLY mean money no object, the new dCS Scarlatti system (transport-dac-word clock) is incredible. Never thought anything could improve on the dCS Encore-Elgar-Verona, but it took three minutes of listening to show I was wrong. I've taken home almost every top player, from Linn to Esoteric to Zanden, and dCS has always been best in every area except bass. But the Scarlatti has conquered that too. And it loads and plays even SACDs in 9 seconds!
