Thank you for directing me to this item. Unfortunately it seems to have no remote control for switching the inputs, which rules it out for me.My system at the moment includes a Mark Levinson CD player and preamp. The CD player has digital inputs so it can be used as a converter. I've now filled up the inputs which is why I am looking at other converters. The simplest thing to do is to find a used Mark Levinson 360s, since it will integrate well with the rest of the system.
My question was directed at finding whether newer designs had overtaken this now ten-year old model.
