I prefer the best CD playback I've heard over the best SACD playback I've heard.... With the units I listed elsewhere in the thread and what I think is the current bang-for-the-buck king of CD playback, the Don Allen-modified Magnavox 5-disc carousel changer. I'd also take the Lavry DA10 DAC and Cheer Audio player over anything I've heard doing high-rez.
