Re: DAC's w/ volume control & multiple inputs, $6k max

Wow, I dont know why I had not thought about the Meridian G91 ... thats a really good idea. Then i could sell my Arcam DV89 too. I will have to give this some serious thought although I doubt it would sound as good as finding a killer outboard DAC.

The Audio Aero Prima sounds interesting but I admit, I dont know much about that company or its products. Anyone know what the price is for the Prima with inputs?

I am not a Linn or ML fan so I'm not going there and I dont think the Grace Design M904 has a remote; which I want.

The accuphase is also a great idea. I had a DP77 for a while and loved it, best cd playback I have heard in my system.

I have never liked the sound of Theta gear BUT the Theta Digital Generation VIII D/A converter is tempting me with all its features. Any comments about this piece?

I guess at $10k you got the Theta Gen 8, DCS Delius, Nagra DAC .... ?

Thanks again for the help!
