RE: How many Audiophiles have Multiple Systems here ? ....................

I haven't had any issues with my Thiel CS2.4. I bought them lightly used in mint condition from a local well over a decade ago and transported them in my SUV. I wouldn't want anything larger in my listening room as the CS2.4 fill out the space nicely.

I had the Thiels almost 9-feet apart center-to-center. I sat about 10-feet back. I removed the Thiels yesterday and put them in the closet for now.

I placed the Tannoy D500's in the system last night and positioned them just under 8-feet apart center-to-center and moved my listening chair closer, to almost 9-feet away. I had to experiment with listening position and toe-in but got the bass, imaging, and soundstage where I like it.

Rather than bring out my tube amp I kept the electronics the same on the Tannoys as on the Thiels.

The Tannoys are definitely more full bodied and warm sounding compared to the Thiels, not as detailed but detailed enough. Very pleasant sounding speaker. Tannoy bass isn't as tight and fast as the Thiels but deep and robust. The overall Tannoy sound is excellent. I'm enjoying the warmer, rounder, more full-bodied sound.

So, I'll be listening to the Tannoys for a while until I decide to swap in the Thiels again. I could honestly live happily with either speaker. I've had the Tannoys for about 22 years and the Thiels for about 14.

The big advantage of the Tannoys is they don't require huge amounts of power yet they sound fantastic. They sound nice in small to medium sized rooms. The Thiels must have huge amounts of power to come alive or they sound constrained and compressed. They sound best in a larger room and that's why I didn't use them in my office setup. I had the Tannoys instead.
