Upsamplers, DACs, jitter, shakes and analogue withdrawals, this is it.

RE: GamuT D200 thump

The click in the loudspeakers is easy to cure with electrolytic capacitors in the signal path. So this is often done.

But electrolytic capacitors have a lot of memory effect. They give out error signals later.

On a continuous sine wave measurement, this does not cause much distortion.

But the error is heard on music.

This error is measured and specified by quality manufacturers of capacitors.

The capacitors used in the D200 signal path have a very low error.

I am this year delivering my Mk V PCBs, which can be used to upgrade even 25 year old D 200 amplifiers. It has even better newly developed capacictors.
