Home Digital Drive

Upsamplers, DACs, jitter, shakes and analogue withdrawals, this is it.

Partly it depends how you define "system"

In any case, Cut-Throat, it sounds like you're well covered.

In my own view I have really only one "system", that is, my main audiophile system which is situated in the our living room. All my serious listening is in done here and I am almost the exclusively listener here

Unlike a lot of people I generally don't do a lot of "non-serious" listening , so I tend not to thing of set-ups in other parts of the house as systems with exception of our home theater system. This again tends to be used mainly by me.

However altogether we have:

  • My main stereo system, living room
  • Home Theater system, basement rec area
  • Master bedroom
  • TV room, used mainly by my wife for TV steaming Netflix, etc.

My wife, grown daughter, and I each have computers with external speakers but these scarcely count as "systems".

    NOT the 51st state, eh!?!
