as a wannabe musician, it's a fascinating read that modern "scientific tuning" isn't "correct".i'd want to tune my gear to this standard, but how can one when all tuners are build to the incorrect "440Hz scientific standard"?
how do you tune a tuner?
STILL, i WOULDN'T use the widget as it creates distortion. it's just a variation on psychoacoustic processors, but like tone controls etc. they add to the signal chain. the tuning issue should be handled at the recording stage.
maybe some, or even most will find the process an improvement, but it's kind of like a director's cut that changes the original version of a movie you like better. it changes the artist's original work even if they were using an inferior tuning.
DON'T autotune "louie louie"!!!!!
LOL
