Of the new wave of DACs that push well past the old duality, I have been interested to hear how a Chord Dave DAC might perform. Heard some interesting things about it.
That said, there's still room in my audiophile heart for a no-nonsense NOS R-2R DAC. There probably always will be, even though I don't use one at the moment.
