Hi, Charles,
The Pioneer PDR series CD recorders have the ability to edit the TOC of a CD-R and insert a "skip ID" for tracks you want to automatically skip while playing. These have to be set prior to finalizing the disc for regular CDP playback. I've had mixed results using CD-Rs with skip IDs in the CDPs I've used over the years.
