RE: Undesirable DAC + Bad Audio Output Section = Great Sounding CD/SACD Player?

A lot of stuff in digital playback doesn't seem to make sense. I don't know if the DAC is necessarily "undesirable"..... Mind you, it's 24/96, but it's via a DSD bus, which is synchronous (320/147) conversion.....

The "bad audio output section" could be knocking down the artifacts from RFI as well. I think this has been why digital audio was more-readily accepted in the mainstream.

Whether it's as desirable as the classic 4x/8x/16x oversampling units prevalent in the 1990s, it's up to the individual listener to decide. The Marantz does bring the DSD to a more-affordable package, and I have to commend the company for that. The suspect output section notwithstanding.
