The words upsampling and oversampling are so interchangeably used (even by technical people) you certainly don't have any idea what they mean after the marketing people get a hold of them :)

SSRC and ASRC are more accurate terms. Since ASRC is available in a separate chip from the DAC it's often called out as a separate feature. SSRC (at least of the 8x variety) is often implemented in the DAC chip these days.

I'll leave it to those with a Marantz manual to say what's what :)
