because i have long term tested the eclipse and short term tested the nova - neither are bright - both are excelent.in fact i consider the nova a great cdp for the $$$$ - and better than the otherwise excellent 303/200 - even maybe better than the 306.
your store must have screwed up something - because 'bright' is not a sim moon cdp trait. In fact - they do not have the same extension as many players in the high frequencies, and could be considered "dark" players.
