Not really because the dimensions of the fasteners appear to be smaller than the wavelengths emitted by the mid range and bass units of the speaker and, in any case, they constitute only a tiny percentage of the speaker surround. Further there is absorption material applied to the baffle to deal with any diffraction issues. I believe this was originally a patent owned by Duntech. It is the grey material best seen surrounding the tweeter but which continues over the entire radiating area.
