RE: I never watched much Star Trek

We are well aware of this flawed cable testing article. See then-publisher
Larry Archibald's criticisms of the Stereo Review article at the link below.
And yes, the author of the 1983 article was the same Larry Greenhill who
subsquently joined Stereophile's team. He told Archibald that Stereo
Review inserted a lot of their own editorial opinions about the inaudibility
of different components and also made up their own conclusion to
Greenhill's article.

> format, create a panel of your writers for listeners, you could settle all
> the cable magic.

We have done such tests over the years. with some listeners reliably
hearing differences. Those results were dismissed by the "objectivists" on
the grounds that the listeners were "lucky coins."
