Indeed - this still doesn't protect the reviewer from being sued but truth
is an effective defense. However, it wouldn't have been a defense in a
potential class action suit I was threatened with some years ago. Fortunately
the suit didn't materialize but the would-be plaintiff's argument was that
by publishing a negative review I had reduced the potential resale value of
the product that he and others owned.
