Hi John,
We never used the experimental filter as the results were relatively underwhelming when using it with anything not recorded on a QA-9...which is most things. We could easily link the two up to work for those recording their LPs into digital files, but it would severely limit the DAC's potential to play back music universally. Another option would be to implement a switch to turn it on and off, but we have never been much for making listening to music so complex that you have to make sure you're using this filter for this file and another filter for another one...the main reason that the only options have been Listen and Measure for years. In fact, the only reason the Measure option has existed at all is to allow proper measurement without the filter getting in the way for reviews.
