That's a rather odd subject title given that you also say, "So either Martin is not telling the whole story or what I heard from a couple of sources is incorrect."

In summary, you're repeating information from unnamed sources and admit that you're unsure as to the veracity of the information!... that's the only part of this story that seems unquestionably "real"!
