It's great that you believe that you've achieved certainty

so why be so oppressive with it and dictate to others and tell them that they're wrong, and that they are liars when they describe what they hear?

That's pretty insulting to manufacturers to tell them that their work is engineered badly. Your statement actually implies that MOST music playback is poorly designed: which I regard as being extremely arrogant and downright untrue. I know of a more than a few designers that spend an inordinate amount of time "adjusting" many different aspects of their components to get them to achieve the sound that they want.

Or, are you saying that those designers are using the same poor testing procedures that you claim that listeners/consumers use?

And, of course, any manufacturer who uses exotic wood, or metals, or vacuum tubes, etc, - must be whack as they make no difference??

Do you get pretty upset when the train is late?
