Maybe, maybe not. I want accurate and I think I have got accurate. At least as accurate as possible.

If I had wanted speakers which emphasize a particular part of the spectrum because I like warm sound (or whatever) I would have looked for such speakers. Different goal, different approach, different system.

I suppose that you are saying that a given speaker in a different room gives a different result. If that's the case, I agree. That's why radiation behaviour is so important, this is why I prefer high directivity index DI. That's why you need to measure because you cannot know how radiation behaviour looks like or how high the DI is from simple listening.

Certainly, but what about studio equipment with standardized interfaces?
