How many people do you think pay much attention to such claims, be it Intelligent Chips or DSD? Given the ubiquitousness of such "technical" claims and various "white papers" apparently the manufacturers (or their marketing departments at least) seem to think that a lot of people are paying attention to them and using them to a significant degree in making their purchasing decisions.Interestingly (or ironically perhaps) the slogan "trust your ears" is just as ubiquitous among the consuming half of the equation.
So in which do you feel consumers place more faith? In techical claims and white papers or their own ears?
