RE: Wouldn't call it a 'negative' reveiw...

Yes. This is true.

However, the driveway measurements and the small room would raise anyone's eyebrows, as would Klipsch' decision to go forward in the first place.

When I saw the magazine cover, saw that Art was the reviewer, and recalled the photo of the Flamencos stuffed in that room, I winced. I knew this was not going to end necessarily well for Klipsch lovers (like me; 1975 La Scalas).

Klipsch wanted a review - They got one.

Though this may be a silly hypothetical, if most aspects of the review had been more favorable, I suspect the Alphonse and Gaston nature of it would have received fewer or more muted criticisms.
